Major topics include the Boeing high speed wind tunnel, the B-29, B-47, and B-17 bombers, the development of the YC-14 short takeoff and landing (STOL) aircraft, and research on supersonic transport.

Hamilton Coolidge World War I Collection

Abstract Hamilton "Ham" Coolidge (1895-1918) was one of many young men from wealthy New England families who enlisted during World War I. The collection contains materials related to Captain Coolidge's service a pilot with the U.S. Army Air Service 94th Aero Squadron. Coolidge achieved Ace status, was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross, and was killed in action.

Payne, with whom Thomas Cooper served in United States Marine Corps in the Pacific theater of World War II. Contents of the Collection The collection is comprised of two very large technical drawings of a Vought A-7 Corsair II, also known as LTV A-7 Corsair II. The drawings were sent to United States Navy Lieutenant Commander Raymond P. Craig while he was in U. S. Navy Post Graduate School from the Vought Corporation on July 21, 1982.
